Google's newest Large Language Model (LLM) shattered the world of AI. Did you know Gemini is the first model to outperform human experts on Massive Multitask Language Understanding (MMLU)?
According to Google, Gemini can understand the world around us the way we do and absorb any input and output. It comprehends text, audio, video, image or code.
Gemini was trained on Tensor Processing Units (TPU) and is faster and cheaper to run than previous PaLM, making the model more efficient.
Gemini comes in three variants — Nano, Pro, and Ultra- assembled to cater to the varied requirements of the users. Nano is meant for quick on-device tasks, while Pro is a versatile version that serves as the middle tier. Ultra is the most powerful of the three versions. It will be available next year as it is undergoing safety checks.
You can use Gemini via Bard. Once you open the website and log in, you can freely command Gemini Pro to aid you in various tasks. Bard was considered a blander version of Chat GPT before Gemini.
In comparison, Gemini is now much more efficient than Chat GPT. It exceeded Chat GPT-4 on multiple-choice exams, grade-school mathematics, and further measures.
The new Gemini-boosted Bard will initially be available in English in more than 170 countries, not including the EU and the UK.
