On the grounds of University College London, special research is being done to diagnose the early stage of Alzheimer's disease. There are two major parts in which the patients are tested - firstly via blood tests and secondly through various paper tests of their cognitive skills. None of these can identify dementia one hundred percent correctly so a team from the university tries to find a way how to unite the process internationally - using modern virtual reality technologies. The patient has to put on a VR headset and follow instructions which are displayed around him, resulting in a challenge for their navigation and memory skills. Potentially this could detect many early signs of the disease with a brighter prospect of future life.
