hello, for anyone looking to kill some time, but still be a little productive, i found a free "online shadowing" website, where the doctor presents a couple cases and then you do a quiz on it, even gives certificates for completing individual modules. there are a lot of specialties from surgical to anesthesio, derm and more, and all are really interesting. hope you try it!
