The university was founded in 1972 with the initial intention of being a traditional university.

However, students considered traditional schools to be undemocratic, so it was decided that Roskilde University would take a more liberal direction and overall teaching methods.
MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAMMES AND COURSES IN ENGLISH:

Roskilde University offers 2 international Bachelor programs one in Natural and the second in Social sciences, students can choose more specific subjects in the second and third year of the Bachelor program

You can choose from 12 Master´s programs taught in English

This uni is focused on problem-oriented and practical learning, which includes a lot of teamwork and project work

Students from EU or EEA countries or Switzerland are not required to pay, tuition and fees for other students are different each year
